If you run LicensorPro on your own server, the customer records, licence keys and orders inside it stay in your database — we never receive them, and we are neither the controller nor a processor of that data. Your installation does contact our licensing server to check your own licence and look for updates, and that sends us only: your licence key, your site URL, the application version, product slug and release channel (plus, as with any request, the originating IP). The licence re-check runs every 12 hours and the update check every 6 hours. The update check passes the licence key as a URL parameter, so it appears in our server logs; treat your key as you would a password.
Purchases are handled by Polar Software, Inc. as our merchant of record. Your payment details are collected and processed by Polar under their privacy policy; we receive order and customer details (name, email, country, and the card brand/last digits) but never your full card number.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We use a first-party session cookie to keep you signed in to the customer portal and admin area, plus a CSRF token for form security. We do not install third-party advertising or tracking cookies by default.
Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can export or request deletion of your data from the customer portal, or email [email protected] and we will respond within the time required by law.
We keep account, license, and order records while your account is active and for as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Server and API logs are rotated on a rolling schedule.
Our service runs on cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services). We rely on these processors: Polar (Polar Software, Inc. — payments / merchant of record) and Amazon Web Services (hosting and email via SES). Data may be processed in countries other than your own; we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this policy; material changes will be announced by email and/or in the customer portal.
