Of everything on our comparison page, this is the closest match. Internal Link Juicer is freemium, self-contained, runs entirely on your own server, has no cloud dashboard and no credits. We agree with almost every design decision they made. The difference is what happens after the links are built.
Most of this category has drifted towards cloud platforms with per-link pricing. Internal Link Juicer did not, and neither did we. Both plugins install into WordPress, do their work there, and charge a flat annual fee that does not care how many links you build. If you have read our LinkBoss comparison and found the credit maths tiring, ILJ is a perfectly reasonable answer to the same complaint.
So this page is not going to argue that they are doing it wrong. It is going to be specific about the two places where the products actually diverge: how a link is chosen, and what the plugin does once your site has links in it.

Internal Link Juicer is a keyword-driven linker. You tell it which keywords should point at which post, and it finds those keywords in your content and links them. It does this well, it is predictable, and for a site with a clear keyword-to-page map it is exactly the right model.
Linkweave is a relevance-driven linker. It builds a BM25 and TF‑IDF index of your content and scores which existing posts are actually about the passage you are writing, then suggests those. You can still write explicit keyword rules — unlimited ones, in the free build — but you do not have to maintain a keyword map for the plugin to be useful on day one.
Neither approach is better in the abstract. The keyword model rewards a site whose owner already knows their target map. The relevance model rewards a site with a lot of content and no such map, which is most sites.
This is where the two products stop overlapping. Building links is the beginning of internal linking, not the end of it. URLs change, posts get deleted, links break, and after a year you want to know which of the links you built anybody actually clicked.
Linkweave Pro carries the maintenance half: a bulk URL changer with one-click rollback, one-click broken-link repair, link click analytics, Search Console CSV import so you can target the pages that are nearly ranking, a topic cluster map, and cross-site linking between sites you own. The free build already gives you the orphan-page and broken-link reports in read-only form, so you can see the problem before deciding whether to pay to fix it in bulk.
Both plugins have a real free version, which already puts them in a small group. But they cut in different places. Internal Link Juicer's free tier limits automatic linking to posts and pages, with terms and custom fields reserved for Pro — a limit on scope.
Linkweave's free tier has no site limit and no post-type limit, and includes the full suggestion engine, unlimited auto-linking rules, inbound link counts, and both reports. What it withholds is the destructive and bulk tooling: you can see every broken link and every orphan page, but repairing them in bulk, exporting the report, and changing URLs site-wide are Pro. A limit on power, not scope.
Choose Internal Link Juicer if
You already know which keyword should point at which page and want a plugin that executes that map faithfully, you need automatic linking on custom taxonomies and fields, or you want ten sites covered at the lowest price and do not need the maintenance tooling.
Choose JnK Linkweave if
You have a lot of content and no keyword map, you care about what happens to links after they are built — breakage, URL changes, clicks, orphans — or you run many sites and the jump to $1,299 a year for unlimited is more than the problem is worth to you.
The one place they are clearly ahead of us right now. Internal Link Juicer's free version installs from the WordPress plugin directory in one click. Linkweave's does not: our listing is closed while an account matter is resolved, and we do not control that timeline. Our free build is a direct download in the meantime. That is a worse first experience and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
