This is not a switch. It is an addition, or it is nothing. Rank Math is a complete SEO suite that four million sites already run, and since AI Link Genius shipped in Rank Math PRO it does internal linking too. Nobody should uninstall Rank Math to install a linking plugin, and we are not going to suggest it.
AI Link Genius is included in every Rank Math PRO tier at no extra charge, alongside a broken link checker and automated keyword linking. Rank Math's own description of it is “a powerful new internal linking system built directly into Rank Math PRO”, and it does bulk link updates with one-click rollback — which is one of the headline features of Linkweave Pro.
So the honest first answer is: go and use it. It costs you nothing extra, it is already installed, and if it solves your internal linking you have saved yourself a purchase and a plugin. Come back to this page if it does not.

We are not going to construct a table where that looks expensive. It is not. Rank Math PRO is extraordinary value and the internal linking is a free extra on top of a product you were buying anyway.
A module inside a suite is built to a different brief than a product that only does one thing. Link Genius covers the core loop — find linking opportunities, insert them, roll them back if you disagree. What it does not currently cover is the surrounding workflow, which is where most of the time actually goes on a large site.
There is also a plain compatibility answer: Linkweave does not replace an SEO plugin and does not compete with one. If you run Yoast, AIOSEO, SEOPress or Rank Math's free version, Linkweave sits alongside it. If you run Rank Math PRO, the two overlap on linking and you should decide whether the extra workflow is worth a second plugin.
Linkweave scores relevance with BM25 and TF‑IDF in plain PHP inside your WordPress install. No request goes anywhere to produce a suggestion. The only exception is Pro's optional bring-your-own-key LLM re-ranking, which is off by default and bills to your own OpenAI or Anthropic account when you switch it on.
Link Genius is an AI feature, and its optional keyword-variation step draws on Rank Math's Content AI, which is their separately priced credit product. We have not found any per-use meter on Link Genius itself and we are not going to imply one exists. But if “my post content is scored on my own server” matters to you — for a client site under a data agreement, say — that is a real architectural difference rather than a feature-list one.
Stay with Rank Math alone if
You already pay for PRO, your site is small enough that finding and inserting links is the whole job, and you would rather run one plugin than two. This is the right answer for a large number of people and we would rather you reached it here than after a refund request.
Add JnK Linkweave if
You have enough content that internal linking is an ongoing programme rather than a task — you want click data on the links you build, you want to aim them at posts that are close to ranking, you run several of your own sites, or you use a different SEO plugin entirely and want linking handled properly regardless.
Worth knowing before you decide. Linkweave's free build is not currently installable from the WordPress plugin directory — our listing is closed while an account matter is resolved. The free version is a direct download from us in the meantime. Rank Math has no such problem, and if a one-click install matters to you, that is a fair reason to wait.

A dedicated plugin earns its place when you need what surrounds that loop: click analytics on internal links, Search Console targeting of near-ranking posts, cross-site linking, and topic cluster mapping.
