JnK Linkweave vs LinkBoss
LinkBoss is a cloud platform: it analyses your site on its own servers, audits the whole link structure for free, and charges credits each time it inserts a link. Linkweave is a WordPress plugin that scores links on your own server and doesn't count them. That difference decides most of what follows.
The short version
LinkBoss is stronger at auditing and at scale. Its free plan covers a site health audit (orphan and dead-end pages, duplicate links, anchor cannibalisation, link flow scores, a structure map), connected Search Console analytics and silo building, plus 50 link-insert credits. Paid plans insert up to 1,000 links in one click, work on Shopify and page builders, and handle 30 languages.
Linkweave is stronger if you link continuously. Nothing is metered, content stays on your server by default, and it adds keyword auto-link rules, broken-link repair, click analytics, related posts and a lifetime licence. It is WordPress-only and tuned for English.

What only one of them does
Only in LinkBoss

LinkBoss, for fairness: we have not used LinkBoss, so there are no screenshots of it here. Its free plan needs no card, so the audit is easy to see for yourself.
What a credit costs you
Credits map cost to usage, which is fair when the vendor really pays per operation, and LinkBoss runs its analysis on GPUs in its cloud, so it does. The catch is that internal linking isn't a one-off job: you do it again with every post you publish. Their FAQ is clear on expiry: “Unused credits do not roll over” on monthly plans, and yearly credits “will expire after 1 year”.

Where content goes
LinkBoss analyses your content in its cloud; that's how it does NLP at scale without loading your server. Linkweave scores links with BM25 and TF-IDF in PHP inside WordPress, so by default nothing leaves your site. The one exception is optional: Linkweave Pro can re-rank suggestions with your own OpenAI or Anthropic key, and if you switch that on, an excerpt and candidate titles go to that provider.
How we compared. Linkweave rows were checked against the released 1.6.0 free and Pro builds; screenshots are from Pro 1.6.0 on WordPress 7.0.2 with demo posts. LinkBoss rows come from its homepage pricing, “Always Free” list and FAQ, read on 17 September 2026 (its /pricing/ address currently returns a 404). We did not create a LinkBoss account. Cells marked not tested are features its public pages don't mention either way.
Choose LinkBoss if
You want a detailed free audit of your whole link structure, you add links in big batches rather than as you write, you run Shopify or a page builder, your content isn't in English, or you manage many sites from one dashboard. The free plan makes the audit a no-cost first step.
Choose JnK Linkweave if
You link as you publish and don't want to count credits, your site is over 1,000 pages, you'd rather keep content on your own server, you want keyword auto-link rules and broken-link repair, or you'd rather buy a lifetime licence once.
What counts against us. Linkweave is not in the WordPress plugin directory at the moment: the listing is temporarily closed, pending a review. The free version is a direct download from us. It is tuned for English content, and links added by auto-link rules disappear if you deactivate the plugin, where LinkBoss writes every link into the post.
